Weve combines the usability and attractiveness of platforms of popular resale apps with our core value of sustainnability. Weve uses youthful and sustainability-driven design to attract younger customers, widely ignored by current, in-person alternatives.

why?

Sustainability is at the forefront of consumers’ minds’. Resale has undergone a drastic evolution, with second hand shops becoming the new norm over retail. Resale apps have emerged in response to this trendy and significant sector of the market. However, in-person, peer-to-peer resale is underdeveloped. Current solutions are clunky, difficult to navigate, and not designed for young audiences.

On college campuses and city neighborhoods, the population turnover is frequent. Many students buy new when they move into dorms, eventually disposing of the same furniture, school supplies, and clothing when they graduate or even just leave for the summer. This same pattern is seen with Gen Z and Millennials in cities, purchasing retail at great expense only to end up in the landfill a year later. With Weve we aim to change this linear economy into a circular one, saving students money and diverting waste from the landfill.
